Finally this project is complete, and we won’t be flooding the blog with pics of its progress anymore.
The 1000cc Trident is rolling and running. Just waiting on the paint work to come back, and needing some final wiring.
This bike is starting to come together and is looking really good. The fork tubes are going to be cut down and the internals will be replaced with cbr600 bits.
We have been waiting on the triple clamps for this bike for a while now. Now that we finally relieved them, we can continue the mock up process. Here are some new pictures with the front end mounted on the bike.
Here are some more recent pictures of the project. With all the traveling for races and Bonneville coming up, the pace of this project has slowed a bit. Ryan is in the process of welding up all the necessary mounts and brackets on the frame.
Work has begun on mocking up the chassis for a Wenco Rob North framed Trident that we have been working on for a while now. You can see the photo gallery of the motor assembly here. We put together a 1000cc stroker motor for this bike and recently mounted it in the frame. The front end has been sent off to be rebuilt to the highest standards. There is a lot of hand fabrication and meticulous planning going into mounting everything up on the frame. In the end this will be one badass street bike. Keep checking back for more updates on this ongoing project.
