Big D Cycle primarily focuses on maintenance and restoration of Triumph and Vincent motorcycles. We can sort your old bike out, or provide a proper full restoration. Our restorations are completed with extreme attention to detail. New old stock or refurbished OEM spares are our first preference when sourcing parts for your project. When original parts are not available, only the best quality reproduction parts are used. We take care to only use the appropriate fasteners and hardware. In most instances, we will repair and re-plate your original hardware to retain as much authenticity as possible. Our workshop has all the necessary equipment to take a rusty basket case and turn it into a fully functioning motorcycle.

TRIUMPH

We have decades of experience building, modifying, and restoring Triumph motorcycles. We can take on your project and restore it from wheel to wheel, or provide a motor only rebuild service. This is a popular option for those who like to handle the rest of the work themselves. We will rebuild your Triumph motor from the sludge trap up using only the best quality parts. You can choose to have this work done in a show finish, which includes re-plated hardware and polished aluminum covers at an extra cost. Alternatively, we can provide mechanical rebuild only and leave the cosmetics up to you. When receiving motor only services, it is imperative that you bring your motorcycle back to Big D Cycle when it is ready for the first start. This way we can check that oil pressure is sufficient, the ignition timing is correct, and the carburetor(s) are tuned properly.

We have the experience and skill required to produce Vincent motorcycles that perform as intended. Vincent motorcycles have a large presence at Big D Cycle, with models coming from all over the United States to be repaired here. These motorcycles require mechanics that are knowledgable of the brand. Often times they have not received such treatment. Due to their age they have changed hands many times ,and you never can know the full story. For this reason, most Vincent motorcycles brought to Big D Cycle receive a full tear down, inspection, and rebuild. High quality reproduction replacement parts are available for Vincent motorcycles. Almost every part in the catalog can be purchased new. Our Vincent rebuilds are highly regarded and well traveled. We have customers that take their Big D Cycle built Vincent motorcycles on long distance trips. We strive to build them to go and good as they show.
